Debrecen
Being Hungary’s second largest city, Debrecen is the cultural, scientific, economic and commercial centre of East-Hungary and is situated 37 km from the Hortobágy Puszta, a World Heritage-site.
It is unique for a city to have a building with such a strong symbolic meaning as Debrecen has its Reformed Cathedral. Debrecen has another famous building – the Reformed College with its library that was built in 1538.
